This website collects almost nothing.
Effective September 2026. This policy covers the website only. What you share in therapy is protected separately under HIPAA and California law, and explained to you in writing at your first session.
What this site collects
There are no forms, accounts, comments, or downloads on this site, so nothing you type is collected — because there is nowhere to type it. The site is static and hosted on Netlify, which logs standard server requests (IP address, page requested, browser type) for security and reliability; those logs are retained briefly and are not used to identify visitors.
Analytics
The site may use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and understand which pages are read. It is configured without advertising features, does not collect names or contact details, and is only loaded after you interact with the page. You can block it with any content blocker without affecting the site.
Phone calls
When you call (424) 488-3031, you reach Dr. Lopez's confidential voicemail. Voicemail is checked by Dr. Lopez only. If you leave a message, your name and number are used to return your call and for nothing else.
Embedded map
The contact page embeds a Google Map for the office address. Loading it sends a request to Google, which is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
Cookies
The site itself sets no cookies. Google Analytics, if enabled, sets its standard first-party cookies; the embedded map may set Google cookies.
Your clinical information
Anything you share as a client — in sessions, by phone, or by telehealth — is protected health information under HIPAA and California law. It is never on this website. You receive a Notice of Privacy Practices at your first session that explains your rights and the narrow limits of confidentiality.
